Actor Kareena Kapoor is feeling nostalgic about Switzerland, where she and her husband Saif Ali Khan reportedly have a holiday home. Kareena and Saif recently welcomed their second child, a boy, in February.

Kareena, Saif, and their four-year-old son Taimur welcomed New Year 2020 at Gstaad. Towards the end of the year, Kareena had expressed regret that they couldn't celebrate in a similar fashion again, because of the pandemic. She'd written in a throwback post, "Will miss you this year...Gstaad my love.”

Kareena returned to work a little over a month after she and Saif welcomed their second son. Kareena worked through most of her pregnancy, recording her talk show and appearing in ads.

The couple hasn't revealed their son's face or name, perhaps in an effort to avoid the scrutiny that they had to deal with after Taimur's birth. She did, however, post a picture with the newborn on Women's Day this year. Later, Saif's sister Saba shared another picture of the baby in his hands. Neither picture showed the child's face.

Kareena will next be seen in Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, which she completed filming shortly after announcing her second pregnancy. The film is the official remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump.

 Realme unveiled the X7 Pro last September, and today it quietly released its Ultra variant, or Extreme Edition depending on which version of the machine translation from Chinese we go with.

One might expect it to come with improvements over the X7 Pro, and it does, but we are also looking at some downgrades here. For starters, the X7 Pro features a 120Hz FullHD+ flat AMOLED screen, but the Ultra packs a 90Hz display, albeit with curved edges.

There are no 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB memory options like the X7 Pro.

Despite packing a 4,500 mAh battery - charging at up to 65W - like the X7 Pro, the Extreme Edition is slimmer (7.8mm) and lighter (170 grams) than the X7 Pro. Besides, the "Dare To Leap" text on the rear panel is now smaller and placed below the camera island, with the Realme logo on the opposite side.

What remains the same on Realme X7 Pro Ultra is the Density 1000+ SoC, 32MP selfie camera, in-display fingerprint reader, USB-C port, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, VC liquid cooling, NFC, and 5G support.

The Realme X7 Pro Ultra is offered in two colors and is already available for purchase in China through the company's official site. The 8GB/128GB model is priced at CNY2,399 ($365/€310), while the 12GB/256GB variant costs CNY2,699 ($410/€350). Although early birds can get one for CNY100 ($15/€13) less.

 Recent reports have revealed that Samsung is working on the Galaxy A82 smartphone. It was recently spotted at Geekbench benchmarking site and in the database of Bluetooth SIG authority. Now the handset has appeared at the Google Play Console (via. Mukul Sharma) to reveal its front design and a few specs.

The Galaxy A82’s image in its Google Play Console listing reveals that it has a punch-hole screen. It is unclear whether it is a placeholder image or an official render of the phone.

The Play Console listing reveals that the Galaxy A82 is powered by Qualcomm’s SM8150P chipset. This model number confirms that the A82 is powered by the Snapdragon 855+. The Geekbench listing of the phone had revealed that it has 4 GB of RAM. The Play Console appearance reveals that it could be also available in a 6 GB RAM variant.

The Galaxy A82 supports a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 450ppi screen density. The device is preinstalled with Android 11 OS. Its appearance at Bluetooth SIG had revealed that it carries support for Bluetooth 5.0.

The Galaxy A82 is expected to replace the Galaxy A80 which debuted with a slide-up rotating camera design back in 2019. A recent report claimed that the smartphone will be sporting a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel primary camera. Reputed tipster Evan Blass had recently claimed that the A82 is equipped with a “dual-use” camera. Hence, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know whether the A82 will feature a slide-up rotating camera like its predecessor. While the phone is expected to debut around mid-2021, there is no new information on its launch date.

West Bengal voted in the second of the eight-phase elections on Thursday.

Kolkata: Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a dig at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, asked if she would contest the elections from another seat, suggesting that her loss in Nandigram is imminent, the Trinamool Congress sources clarified that she harbored no such intention.

Sporadic incidents of violence, allegations of booth capturing, and clashes on Thursday marked the second phase of assembly polls in Bengal, especially in the high-profile Nandigram constituency, even as 80 percent turnout was recorded till 5 pm.

The Election Commission has sought a report in connection with an incident in the Boyal area of Nandigram - where Mamata Banerjee was held up for more than two hours following a siege allegedly laid by supporters of the BJP.

BJP leader Jaiprakash Majumdar, echoing the Prime Minister, said that Ms. Banerjee is "likely to contest from another seat after sensing defeat in Nandigram", an assertion rejected by the Trinamool leadership.

Slamming the BJP for "causing a disturbance" in the high-stake constituency -- where the chief minister is pitted against her protege-turned-adversary Suvendu Adhikari - Trinamool MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy said the PM must "apologize for such wild and baseless claims".

भारत ने तीसरे और निर्णायक वनडे में टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 48.2 ओवर में 329 रन बनाए थे. इसके जवाब में इंग्लिश टीम 50 ओवर में नौ विकेट पर 322 रन ही बना सकी. इंग्लैंड के लिए युवा ऑलराउंडर सैम कर्रन ने सबसे ज्यादा 95* रन बनाए. वहीं भारत के लिए शार्दुल ठाकुर ने सबसे ज्यादा चार विकेट झटके.

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel on Wednesday said it has received CERT-IN empanelment to offer its cybersecurity solutions to Union and State governments, as well as Public Sector entities, in addition to corporate customers, under Airtel Secure.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) is the nodal agency within the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) which deals with cybersecurity threats and works to strengthen the defense of the Indian internet domain.

As part of Airtel Secure, Airtel has set up a state-of-the-art Security Intelligence Centre with access to advanced technology and AI / ML tools to track and mitigate potential online threats.

From endpoint protection, email protection to cloud DDOS protection, and more, Airtel Secure has created a comprehensive solutions portfolio through strategic partnerships with Cisco, Radware, VMWare, and Forcepoint.

The ICC cricket committee has made changes to the way lbws will be adjudged under the Decision Review System, effectively increasing the area of the stumps a ball must be shown as hitting for a not-out decision to be overturned. This "wicket zone" will now be extended all the way to the top of the bails, having previously gone only to the bottom of the bails, which is why deliveries just clipping the bails ended up staying with the umpire's call on the field. By DRS protocol, If more than half the ball is predicted to hit this region, an on-field call of not-out is reversed.

Lbw decisions have been at the very center of most debates around the DRS, whether it is on the efficacy of ball-tracking technologies or - as the focus is these days - around the umpire's call element. Virat Kohli said during the recent ODI series with England that it caused a lot of confusion. But the ICC cricket committee, as reported earlier by ESPNcricinfo, has decided to retain the umpire's call.

"The principle underpinning DRS was to correct clear errors in the game whilst ensuring the role of the umpire as the decision-maker on the field of play was preserved, bearing in mind the element of prediction involved with the technology," Anil Kumble, former India captain and current head of the committee, said. "Umpire's Call allows that to happen, which is why it is important it remains."

This is the second time the ICC has adjusted its definition of the "wicket zone" for lbws. In 2016, they had increased the wicket zone by expanding its width, so that half the ball had to hit any part of the off- or leg-stumps, rather than having to hit at least half of each stump previously.

Another significant change will now allow teams to ask on-field officials if they think the batsman was playing a shot before they decide to review. And short-run calls, like no-ball calls, will now be the third umpire's responsibility.

Covid-19 regulations to stay

In the age of a pandemic, the ICC had to make some leeway to ensure matches can be played while also keeping people safe.

As a result, they allowed for the use of home umpires - when previously all matches had to be adjudicated by neutrals. Coupled with that, all teams were given an additional DRS review per innings to account for the possibility of unconscious bias.

There were also provisions made for Covid-19 substitutes in case a player in the XI is found to be sick. And the use of saliva to shine the ball was outlawed.

These rules had originally been added as a temporary measure and the cricket committee has decided that they will continue to stay in play, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Expanding the use of substitutes

The ICC currently allows players to be substituted for two reasons: concussion and Covid-19. But having opened the doors for it, the cricket committee now appears to be in favor of expanding the remit.

Previously, any time a team ends up fielding more than 11 players, the game's official status would be stripped and it would be considered just a friend. That will no longer be the case now as the lawmakers try to assess a more general use of replacement players, starting at the first-class level.
